Well let me throw in some back story here. I met Michael while slinging him some drinks at Wisp Resort last winter. After chatting it up with my boyfriend, I finished my shift and decided to join them. Talking about sports, the Kansas/WVU basketball game came up and I mentioned how much I wanted to go. Much to my surprise, this guy that I had only met a few hours ago (Don't worry, he went on some ski runs in between rounds, lol) offered to get us tickets for the game. Growing up on Kansas basketball and having worked with the men's team at West Virginia University, this offering was a HUGE deal for me! And he came through!

| Mom and I with the sign/shirts I made for the game!! We call ourselves "Jayhawkaineers" :) ANYWAY, we decided to do a shoot with Michael's daughter. Adeline was a beautiful, shy thing with the best little smile:) It didn't take long for her to warm up, and it didn't hurt that Daddy could make her laugh at anything (and we both got a laugh out of laughing at Daddy;) What resulted were some of the cutest father/daughter pictures that I've ever seen, let alone had the pleasure of shooting! I loved working with her, and hopefully we get to shoot again sometime.... Maybe this time without the snow:) |
